We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager & Technical Lead to lead the development, integration, and launch of state-of-the-art tax planning software. This individual will combine strategic product management expertise with technical leadership to ensure the software’s functionality, usability, and market success. A critical aspect of the role is collaborating with an AI team to integrate cutting-edge AI-driven features, making the software smarter, more efficient, and highly competitive.

Responsibility

1. Product Strategy and Vision

• Define the product vision and roadmap, with a focus on tax planning functionality, scalability, and AI-driven innovation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tax regulations, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
• Align product goals with business objectives and market needs.

2. Technical Leadership

• Oversee and guide the backend and frontend development teams, ensuring timely delivery of features and overall system architecture.
• Define and implement technical best practices, including code quality, system performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with the AI team to design and implement advanced features, including automated tax calculations, predictive analytics, and scenario modeling.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to development timelines.

3. AI Integration

• Partner with the AI team to incorporate machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) capabilities.
• Identify opportunities where AI can enhance user experience, such as chatbots for real-time tax advice or anomaly detection for tax optimization.
• Ensure AI features are user-friendly, reliable, and compliant with industry standards.

4. Tax Planning Expertise

• Work with subject matter experts to translate complex tax planning needs into detailed product requirements for technical teams.
• Validate the accuracy and relevance of the software’s tax planning tools.

5. User Experience and Feedback

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create an intuitive interface that leverages AI-powered features.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine AI tools and other software features post-launch.

6. Go-to-Market Planning

• Develop a comprehensive product launch strategy, including training materials for users and promotional campaigns.
• Work with the marketing team to highlight AI capabilities as a competitive advantage.
• Monitor product performance post-launch and define future updates and enhancements.

7. Leadership and Coordination

• Act as a bridge between the AI team, technical teams, tax experts, and stakeholders.
• Foster cross-functional team collaboration to meet deadlines and deliver a high-quality product.

8. Technical Architecture Oversight

• Define and manage the software architecture and ensure seamless integration of all components (AI, backend, frontend).
• Make decisions on technical tools, platforms, and frameworks to ensure project success.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks in system design and development processes.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Taxation, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience managing software products and leading technical teams, preferably in financial or tax technology.
• Strong expertise in software architecture design and development lifecycle management.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, NLP, and predictive analytics.
• Proficiency in product management and technical tools (e.g., JIRA, Monday.com, Git, cloud platforms).
• Strong programming and software development skills, including familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey technical and AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
